A major turning point came through our screenwriting mentorship program with Ria Sardana. By learning to embrace experimentation over perfectionism, exploring alternate dialogue, and digging deep into character motivation (shoutout to that pivotal question: “What does he want?” regarding the character Jabari), Tré’s writing evolved. Combined with industry insights from producer Anni Weisband, Tré’s confidence as a screenwriter has soared—and a thriving future in film now feels fully within reach.
