“In The Limelight:” Acting Workshop for Kids and Teens
The skills developed and explored in this workshop will give young actors the ability—and the confidence—to become creative problem -solvers, inspired communicators and innovative thinkers. These skills help them improve their school work today, excel in the job market tomorrow and move successfully through life experience.
Acting workshop for teens is not just about the end product; they are all about the
journey. That’s because we teach the process and craft of acting, which encourage
students to let their imaginations soar.
Each participant will study with their grade-level peers, and in these ensembles they discover the joy of acting, make new friends and have fun! Foundation students learn from the best—our Lecturer is an award-winning Playwright, Leon Anderson (http://www.sam7productions.com/). The final workshop will conclude with in-class demonstrations for family and friends—a chance to show what these young thespians have learned and a great way to wrap up a great acting session!
